As a member of ASID and IIDA we are always on the cutting edge of designing homes with mother earth in mind. We approach this in many different ways. All rooms are studied and analyzed one at a time to determine, during the design process ,how to design most efficiently. We purchase furnishings that will last many generations. We do not believe in “throw away” furniture that is poorly built or fabrics that are not suitable for its end use. We also seek out one of a kind vintage and antique pieces to help keep our carbon footprint a little lighter and this process also guarantees a superbly individualized home that has gorgeous furnishings that cannot be found anywhere else. We have our own line of paint that is 100% VOC free, so no chemicals! We also work closely with the best manufacturers in the industry that have the same belief in delivering organic products to keep you had your family happy and healthy.

We all want to be mindful of our carbon footprint. Couture Design House cares about the future for our children and the upcoming generations. With that, comes a responsibility to designing homes with the utmost of energy conservation. We analyze all ways in which we can conserve and then we go to work to put this into place. What you deserve is a home that not only looks fabulous but it is highly functionable and that is what we are all about. Energy conservation is everywhere in your home. Your window treatments, flooring, faucets, and more. Not just the obvious air conditioning condenser and furnace. Too many people have a “throw away” philosophy. We all crave something new, but in today’s day and age we all have to do our part to protect mother earth and recycling is one of our strong points. We will work with you to determine what can be salvaged in the design of your home. We love kitchen remodels and more times than not we are able to salvage the cabinets. As design professionals we are very good at breathing new life into cabinets, furniture, flooring etc. And all that money you save can be redirected into other goals for your dream home! And you can breathe easy knowing you are doing your part to upcyle/recycle.

Los Angeles-based Interior Designer Wendy Rago founded Couture Design House in 1999 while pursuing Certification from the Interior Design Institute, one of the top Interior Design Schools in the nation.
Experienced in full house design, including new construction and complete tear out and remodelling, she has the experience you need to create the house of your dreams. Whether you hire your own architect and/or contractor or have us hire for you and manage the complete project is one of our offerings to help alleviate the work for our busy clients. Wendy truly excels at project management and budgeting.
